That Walkman, Doe…

The Sony Walkman. It defined an era. It revolutionized music. And if you’re a freaking hipster or still stuck in the 90s, you probably own one. Um, yeah. This thing.

Um, yeah. Umm….

I mean, if you really wanted to, you could probably buy one of the new, 2015 edition ones, when they come out. No, the New Sony Walkmans don’t play cassette tapes, they play high-resolution digital audio files. And they cost about $1200. Yeah. No, that’s not a typo. They seriously cost that much. I mean, sure, the sound quality is better (assuming you are using good headphones for it, as well), but at that point, can your ear tell a big enough difference? Like, a $1200 difference? I guess that’s up to you to decide.

Today’s Daily Gratitude is for the fact that Sony is doing something to keep a brand alive, but really, $1200? I guess the real daily gratitude should be that I don’t feel compelled to buy one…
