So, tomorrow night I will be packing for a big trip (I have a lot of homework tonight, so not I’m packing tonight). It’s an interesting trip, because I will be traveling with a delegation from my university, although I’ll be staying with the delegation from my old High School (the University delegation has me as the only male, and I was allowed to stay in the same room as the guys from the delegation of my old High School.
The trip is to the Ignatian Family Teach-In for Justice, held in Washington D.C., as an opportunity for students of Jesuit institutions (High Schools and Colleges/Universities) and members of the Jesuit community to learn more about Social Justice, as well advocate to members of congress on the same issues.
I’m very excited, but as on all trips, I find myself a bit nervous, about traveling, meeting new people, and generally about the experience. Mostly though, I’m excited. I’m anxious. I’m ready to learn much, to act on what I learn, and then take that back with me to spread out to the community around me.
Anyways, I would be very blessed if I could have your prayers on this journey. Thank you so much.
Today’s Daily Gratitude is for you. Thank you.
