The Drowsy Chaperone

Hey guys, so, I’m a bit excited. I just got cast in a musical production as an actor. I do have a small role (that’s not simply ensemble), and I do have lines and even get to sing a little bit. More than anything, I’m just involved in spit takes, so…

Well, my character’s name is “Underling,” and he exists in the musical theatre experience of, “The Drowsy Chaperone.” It’s an interesting show, with lots of memorable songs, and a lot of humor. I’m excited for it, and to be a part of musical theatre once more, even if not necessarily as a member of the pit band, as I’m used to.

Rehearsals will start in the winter semester, and the show will be in March or April.

I’m also working on memorizing all of the big monologues from Hamlet, mostly just because I want to.

Also, there’s three days left to get shirts! So, get them while you still can!!

Today’s Daily Gratitude is for the people I got to meet at auditions. You’re all awesome.

Peace!…
